Messing around with my Prime lens...

I was bored... Decided to mess around with my prime lens, since its good for low light shooting. Took a picture of our side table. And did a little vignette effect...

Always & Forever....

JFK's tomb @ Arlington Cemetery

Located inside the Arlington cemetery is JFK's tomb. Here, is where he lies right next to his wife. One of, if not the most important places in the US. You have to pay your respect to the president is your around the D.C. area. This place is very clean and quiet, which equals the serenity of the place. Here you'll also find the eternal flame atop the president's tomb. So on with the pics...

Better read the sign first...

Silent & Respect...

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Located behind the Arlington Amphitheater is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. One of the most special spot in the Arlington Cemetery. This place is guarded 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since July 2 1937. There's a change of guard every 30 minutes during summer time, we were lucky enough to have seen it. It's a very well coordinated and you have to be silent at this moment. This is a must see place is your around the D.C. area, So on with the pics...

Arlington Cemetery @ Virginia...

The Arlington Cemetery in Virginia is one special place for the people of the United States. This is where all the heroes, soldiers and past U.S. president have been lay to rest. Located 20-30 minutes outside Washington D.C. It's a "must" tourist location if you're around the DC area. I like this place because of it's meaning to the history of the United States. In here you'll find the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and JFK's tomb as with his family. I'll make a separate post about those. So on with the pics...

The silence in this place is very touching...

Bokeh: It's been awhile...

Haven't really used my SLR for awhile now... Last time I fired it was back in July and only for a moment... As I'm not having it that day. Too bulky to walk around with so I used the G10 for most of the time now hahaha But as I was cleaning my drawers, I saw my prime lens, collecting dust. So I dusted it off, put it in the SLR and fire away... Bokeh!! I love bokeh shots! I forgot how much I love shooting bokeh! It's nice to have experience it again hahaha So on with the pics....
